Anyone else do this? I feel like I can't stop. When I eat large amounts of food, it's always in frontof the tv or computer. I just like to zone out, it'sa way to relax since I'm a single mom of two kids.
How do I stop? It's getting ridiculously expensive to be spending so much money on food. It's a waste.

Hello Melmo: Personally, I just only eat at mealtimes. Then, sometimes I'll eat dessert later on in front of the TV. But I only have a single portion. Once it's gone it's gone. If I have a whole package of cookies, for example, I'll eat a whole package of cookies! I don't have allot of self-control. So I've found that the best way to not overdo it is to not start to begin with... or at least to arrange things so that I can't overdo it without putting in some amount of effort.

Melmo, I do the same thing eating in front of the tv. I'm addicted to tv and often times tv has become my companion. Then I stuff my face watching tv.

What I try to do is work on paperwork or get busy with another project.
