Has anyone done a juice fast before? I am really interested in doing one for maybe a couple weeks (4 at most). I want to do it for my health to become more aware and conscious about what I'm putting into my body and to learn how it changes me mentally and physically. Any ideas or suggestions? All are welcome.

You really need a quality juicer to do a decent juice fast.

I'm getting one for Christmas actually. I got a pretty good one I'm just waiting to use it so I can have something to open for the holiday lol but I'd like to use it already. I have heard good thing about ginger but I can't do the taste or it :/ but I did ask for some books that have good recipes. I really want to use mostly greens and plan to.

Greens give out little juice. But have good nutrients. Romaine tho has decent juice. Cukes are great for juice! Sounds like you are on a good path already.

Juicing is great! I've recently started doing it too, more as a means to get more of the nutrients I wouldn't normally get.My fav juicing recipes
• 3 apples • 1 stick of celery • Half a cucumber • Spinach (1 handful) • Ice (1 cup) • Lettuce (1 handful) |
