Hi everyone,
I'm a 28 year vet of EDs and still struggling. I have had periods of anorexia, the first when I was 12, bulimia and BED with BED being the majority of the years. In the past few years I have had some "successful/healthy" periods but they have been swamped out by the binge eating coming back. I'm trying again. Usually when I start trying to control things I go too far the other way so I am trying to avoid that this time. Don't really know what I'm doing. Looked at OA tonight but I can't seem to use the online group on an iPad. Looked at an ED centre that has groups but I'm embarrassed to go somewhere where there might be others on the opposite end of the spectrum in weight. Sort of moot since I just missed the registration deadline. I was seeing a therapist for anxiety but it was only a ten session max so we never touched on the ED. I'm starting with a new therapist next week and since my anxiety seems better I will see if we can work on this. Really want to turn over a new leaf!
Thanks for saying hi.
Hugs from:
