I think I need to totally abstain from salty, greasy foods. This makes me very sad. They are like my best friend. They welcome me home from a hard day or help celebrate the good days. I can feel tears behind my eyes. This was why I have been ignoring my weight gain for a year. It just felt good to eat again. But where has it gotten me?

(((((hugs))))
you don't have to give them up all together- you know, you could maybe eat them once a week- possibly twice.

then gradually stop, and soon it might become a natural thing for you.. i can understand how giving them up can make you sad, but you don't have to give anything up- all you have to do is eat less of some things
