When I was on Paxil, I had an almost insatiable appetite and became too overweight. I didn't really think of the health risks at the time. When I reached a certain dress size (do bears wear dresses?) I decided something needed to be done, and I stopped the Paxil and lost several stone... I'd tried to lose weight before while I was still taking the Paxil, but found it impossible.

I lost more weight than intended as ... well I just did.

Now I'm tempted to binge again, the weight is gradually creeping on again. I don't care if I look like a well fed bear, i don't care if being overweight shortens my life.. but I'm scared of other health issues.

But for now I'm carrying on over eating as a way to stay alive...for now

I'm tempted to delete this as it probably doesn't belong here and really who cares about this stuff (my stuff re food, it's not a big deal...."we all" have issues with food sometimes as a doctor (irl) might say )

I'm on Paxil too, don't have that same side effect... but it's given me plenty of other problems. I'm going to see my doctor next month. Hoping to try something else
