I have fasted 40 days without food in 2017, another 40 days in 2018, and another 40 days in 2019. I have fasted more than 120 days without food, but these are the highlights. I was able to get down to 120 pounds, but right now in 2022, I am around 200 pounds. I feel bad about myself. I have a plan to fast again next year in 2023. I missed the time I was fit. I had smaller fasting in the past, I had 3 days fast, 10 days fast and 21 days fast. I had so much fasting and still overweight again.

I don't know much about fasting so I will have to read up on it. But thanks for sharing your story.

When I was able I would fast for 3 days a month. Just water nothing else. It's more doable to maintain a lower weight. I believe you have to find a way to fast regularly. my sister in law who is thin fast 2 days a week. and the rest of the time eats under 500 calories a day. Basically one meal a day. When I was young I did the one meal day thing. Fasting and binging is your problem you have to fast consistently. Even my mom at 73 fasts consistently to maintain her weight.
