My mother was diagnosed with two illnesses, one being emphysema, and the other being rheumatoid arthitis...both in early stages. Its very difficult because i have no idea what to do or give her to help her feel better or more comfortable. She is on a bunch of medication....that only slows down the process and its getting worse by the day.

Love... compassion...patience...these would be good for starters. Are you her primary caregiver?
