Hello I am concerned about my 15 year old daughter. I came across a diary she's been keeping and only read it as she has been acting off and it took me a good while to read it all but I don't know what to make of it. It seems she is feeding off attention from TEACHERS e.g she will cut herself hoping that a teacher or specific teacher will see!! But she wrote she would feel sick if I saw it. She is in her second to last year at school and is worrying about leaving yet she tells me she hates school and she also wrote down she is worried for summer as she will feel lost without school? She then writes about suicidal feelings and wanting to kill herself but not wanting to hurt anyone? It's all so confusing!!! I feel that she wants people to think she's upset but only specific people as she worries about what others will say? She was diagnose with anxiety when she was 11 but this surely can't be anxiety? I'm so worried! I feel like I've not given her enough attention or something but I know I have!! She also seems to obsess over a certain male teacher and spends her time fantasising about them being together? What do I do? Should I ring her school and tell them? Should I just tell the certain teacher?

I really think you should get her re evaluated and get her into therapy. I wouldn't Bring it to her attention or the school. Just say you want her in therapy because she seems stressed.
