I dont know where to begin. I been married an year and together for 5 years. I have know for years that my husband is bipolar. I have a sister and aunt that are bipolar. My husband 8 days ago had a major panic attack. At the time they thought it was a heart attack. Went to the doctor and the doctor said that he is bipolar depressive. He is doing pretty good. They put him on Deporte (i think that is how it is spelled) and we been charting the moods for the doctor at the 30 day marker. They they found his testerone is extermely low to boot.
I am use to the rollercoaster. I use to make the joke I dont have to go on one I live it. But they are worst and he looks at me to fix them and I dont know how. The doctor told us the first few weeks are going to be worst then normal. To boot my doctor who is his doctor does not want to up my meds for the next couplle of months. He thinks if we get hubby undercontrol my meds wont need to be increase mine. Overwhelmed. |

Hello, tinkerpiggy. The doctor expects a lot of you. Perhaps, you need to be more forceful in insisting you need more help now.

I agree with glok, your doctor is not being very supportive you to you. Regardless if you husband is still having that not negate the problems that you are having. I would either be a little more aggressive with the doctor of find a new one that is not treating you on your husband's illness.
