My little sister has been just acting strange lately. She's not telling me the whole truth about things and it's really starting to bug me. Here I have to take care of her because everyone keeps putting her under my care and I'm just tired of it. I just want for her to be independent and not be shoved upon me. Any way, I just don't know what to do. Her therapist keeps pushing her to become more dependent on me and my therapist is trying to help me to be come more independent and to get my sister more independent. I'm just confused and lost. I need help! Does any one have any ideas?

Gowing up is hard to do. Most of us had to go through something tough while growing up. I'm sorry that you are having to be a caregiver so early.

I think you would have to think about how you have handled what your little sister has told you in the past, and how you would handle anything new now, to be able to find a path to her now. Maybe something has happened and she wishes to tell you but is unsure how much of good big sister you will be? I don't know, of course.

Try to make friends with her; working together in this is much easier than friction. (((hugs)))
