Hi all,
I am really struggling with my bipolar mother. So much so that I came to the internet for support. I've read a bit and most posts seem to be people with bipolar. I'm wondering if this is the place for me share/get support as someone who experiences bi polar (untreated) from
The person closest to them. Thanks so much!

Hadley04, first welcome to PC. It is nice to meet you. I am sorry that you are struggling with your mom's bipolar. This could be a place to post about this but I am thinking that you may get more support if you post in the bipolar forum as many there will have ideas and will most probably have more experience as to how to help you. The link is below.

We also have a resource center that may be helpful.

I wish you the very best and I hope that you find the answers that you are hoping for.

If you have any questions feel free to contact any community liaison or moderator.

Hi Hadley04,

Welcome to PC!

You may find the Partners and Caregivers forum useful with support for you, with dealing with your mom.

Hope you find this community as warm and supportive, as I have.

If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask any of the Community Liasons for help and gentle board guidance.

Bipolar - Forums at Psych Central

Many people meet with a psychiatrist to discuss medication options for diminishing symptoms.

Some people find a therapist helps them talk through some of the roots their challenges stem from.

If you wish to chat privately or just have a question, feel free to private message me or other Community Liasons (left click on the name to the left of the post you want to private message, select Send Private Message)

Thanks for sharing your story.
