This is only when she don't take her medicine. My friend will spend hour 's complaining about her looks in the mirror about her fat and why she looks so bad a age 68 and then she will start dewelling on her past and then talk about her children and why they don't have anything to do with her. She will want to go visit her children when they don't want her to come. They will not answer the door. She always wanting sex with someone else on the street she has told me.

That's interesting. She sounds a bit like my grandmother, except for the sex thing. I think complaining is pretty common with seniors because they have more time to dwell on resentments and having to rely on others makes them feel a bit powerless, but the obsession with her appearance is a bit unusual.

I only knew one bipolar person. She when she was off her meds, she got overexcited and accused people of not visiting her when she was depressed. She was normally very nice and friendly.

It is impossible to know what's going on with your friend. I can say, however, that it is common for bipolars to get stuck on, and obsess over a specific subject or situation.

Not all have these exact same symptoms, but some of her behaviors could be explained by depression and then mania (the sex thing).

She has been put in a mental hospital and have no idea when she will come out. I wonder if they will keep her longer because of the verus? She loves the one they put her in because they treat her like family.

Thanks you all for the help.

She will have sex with anybody that wants it when she not on her meds. She had sex with taxi cab driver's she told me at one time. This was years before she meet me. Had a doctor call me from a mental hospital and told me they check for AIDS from everybody before they let them come in the hospital.
