What are ways that others have supported families who have a child with mental illness?

It’s hard to know what to do to help.

Hi BlueLucky. Welcome to Psych Central. It is a difficult challenge to deal with a child with a mental illness. Hope you find the support you are looking for. Have you reached out to a social worker or a school counselor to see what local resources are available?

Are you looking for support or are you looking to give support?
