Have seen psychologist in the past. I know I need to go back but I want to know who are better at diagnosing. P
Last Tim I saw him he had suggested I visit one of his colleagues who was better at diagnosing than him. What's the difference and which is better.

IMO psychologists are usually better. When I went for a Dx I sought out someone who only does Dx. She is a psychologist and was wonderful!!!

Psychiatrists are medical doctors and mostly specialize in the medical/pharmaceutical approach to one's problems. I like psychologists as they can work with you to figure out how to approach one's actual difficulties, day-to-day.

If you worked sucessfully before with a psychologist, I don't see why they or you really care about a more "accurate" diagnosis? If what you have tried, works, just keep doing that?
