i have not been diagnosed with anything. but do think my personality might not be quite right. i have a strong fear of people. and try not to be around anyone if i dont have to. i always worry about doing what they want right or saying what they want to here. so i say very little. and have no opinion. if im around the same person alot. like at work. i will study that person and become their double. knowing exactly what pleases them and what doesnt. im careful to figure this out with everyone. its my number one priority. i even try to do it here on pc ive noticed. i just like to keep everyone happy.irl life i dont socialize at all or have friends. i do know people. like at work and relatives. but thats it. i tend to be a loner. just work and come home. and shop for grocieries and stuff. like going on pc tho.

my quiz results

paranoid - low
schizoid - moderate
schiztypal - very high
antisocial - low
borderline - moderate
histrionic - moderate
narcissistic - low
avoidant - very high
dependent - moderate
obsessive/compulsive - moderate

can anyone translate what these results mean.
thank you for reading this.

.
It all sounds quite "normal" to me, as in many people feel and do the same as you, it's nice to always know your not alone if you feel like this is bothering you you should talk to someone about it, if it's not bothering you than don'r worry about it...what should "normal" be to you?
i'm not talking about you, but too many people get caught up in how they should be and think something is wrong with them. yes if it is hindering your life and upset about things tha nplease do seek help and change but if not than there is no readon to change...just be YOU

Having "a strong fear of people" sounds to me like too much anxiety for you to be carrying around to say that everything is fine with you. When there is a personality characteristic that is causing you stress, then I think that is what gets called a "maladaptive personality trait." Having a mindset that causes you to "always worry" to the extent that you describe sounds to me as being maladaptive. It's really all about how comfortable you are in your own skin. Sometimes psychiatrists will say that a person has a "maladaptive trait'" but not necessarily a full-blown disorder. Also, there is a diagnosis called "Mixed Personality Disorder" which would apply to someone who has maladaptive traits from different personality disorders. Furthermore, there is a diagnosis called "Personality Disorder Not Otherwise Specified." I guess that is used for someone who seems to be having an awful lot of struggle caused by a dysfunctional personality but who doesn't match up that well to the usual categories of personality disorder.

I think personality disorders are a lot more common than what we would think based on how many people get diagnosed. I think you are wise to question that something may not be right in that you are having a lot of anxiety. The ultimate question is can anything be done so that you might not be under this stressful fear. I think there could be, but first it takes recognizing that a problem exists. It sounds to me like you are not as happy in life as you might be, and deserve to be.
