So, got my results back today and it was indicative of 3 mood disorders and 2 personality disorders; among them being:

Dependent Personality Disorder
and
Schitzotypal Personality Disorder

T was pretty amused because the two are quite opposite (one being clingy by nature and the other being standoffish). But neither of us question its validity because it's pretty evident in my character. She guessed that perhaps the schitzotypal part comes out when i've been dependent upon someone who misuses it - but we haven't (and probably won't) gone into details cherry picking each symptom. Anyways, it does make sense in my case - but I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who had the same or a similar diagnosis? How do the features show up in you? Was your t just as surprised?

I don't have either one of these disorders, but I have seen a few people around here who have more than one personality disorder or at least traits of more than one that seem to contradict each other. But here's the thing, human beings are all about paradoxes. Contradictions are, dare I say, "normal".
Thanks for this!
