I was dx with BPD back in 2000, i have tried therapy off and on throughout the years, just long enough to quiet my thoughts....but back in oct I made the decision to commit to my therapy....all the time, not just when im feeling at my worst. It really has helped. I got insurance through my job that actully pays for a good therapist. I never had this kind of therapist/patient relationship on any other attempts prior to this one. Anyway the point is she is recomending Neurofeedback therapy for me.....I dont know too much about it. I found some stuff on biofeedback. Whats the difference? It is quite a drive to go to the place she wants to send me.....It will probly cause a little finacial problem....but if it works it might be worth it. She said it retrains your brain to think differently, sounds impossible to me,really. So does anyone have some experience with it.....i would appriecate any input....

Welcome to PC...I don't about Neurofeedback Therapy; however, I wanted to let you know that I read your post.

Hopefully some here will know more about it...

You may also try searching this site to see if you can find something on it.
