i have obsessive thoughts also depression /anxiety .had the obsessive thoughts for 20 odd years ,a fellow sufferer recently said i should tell my doc about them ,i always thought ocd was checking things ,not obsessive thoughts ,anyone have knowledge about this?

How much do your obsessive thoughts bother you? Do you feel compelled to do anything to try to stop those thoughts? Definitely, if it bothers you, tell your doctor about it. There is treatment available.
