This is all new to me. I have never used a chat, so I really don't know what is going on. I have been diagnosed with bpd and major depressive disorder. I have been hospitalized 20+ times, have had over 70+ ect treatments. I have many questions which me and my therapist are trying to figure out. I've been on disability for 9 yrs and suffer with numerous symptoms most of the time. I have problems with eating disorder. I am looking for others like me. The only place i have ever been in a group with borderlines is the NC state hospital. It is hard to describe myself to others in the mental health industry because they don't understand and have problems relating.

Hi Robert. I replied to your other post, but we can talk a little more here in your own thread. The welcome thread is fine for introducing yourself, but not so much for going into lengthier discussions. There is some security and comfort in finding others like ourselves. At least then you're not alone. What I really find inspiring is when I meet people who have had the same problems I do, but have been able to move past it and accomplish things that were important to them. It gives me hope.

So, if you didn't have all these symptoms, what would you like to do with your life?
