Currently I'm trying to figure out what the hell I have. I feel no remorse or empathy for anyone or anything I do. Also, I hate people. I can't stand to be around them or talk to them unless it's work related. I do what I want because, mostly I can and I don't care (although I'm smart enough to not do anything to get fired as I only have one source of income and don't want to look for another job). Anyway I thought maybe I was somewhat sociopathic but not feeling guilt or remorse doesn't fit the whole profile.

I think we can all fit into a lot things that may be "wrong" with us...but really the only thing wrong is our acting out our past emotions and not dealing with them...I suspect you do care, or you wouldn't even be contemplating your actions. Perhaps how you are dealing wiht life isn't working quite as well for you right now and underneath your beginning to be afraid that the "front" is about to break? if something is working for us we'd continue doing it without question...I've been where you are and its a hard long road out of it, but only time and eventually alonessness will force change.....

Are you concerned about it?

Being curious is a great place to be when entering psychotherapy and particularly psychoanalytic therapy. Give it a try, see what's there?

Curious, yes. Concerned. no. Perhaps I should have worded my first post better.
