I had an awful nightmare last night. It was so awful. I was back living with my parents (I don't now) and they were kicking me out of my bedroom even though no one else needed it. Now that I'm awake I'm not sure where I was supposed to sleep, but it might have been in the basement (one large room). They didn't care what I needed or what was best for me. They both ganged up on me. And it all had something to do with them no longer sharing their bedroom and needing to punish me for it. (neither one of them was moving into my bedroom.) And they wouldn't let me move into my brother's bedroom who didn't live with us anymore. It was so awful. It brought up all these feelings of when they would threaten to kick me out as a teenager just because they were having problems. I felt like no one cared about me and in my dream I couldn't get a hold of my T. It was like they had gone off the deep end. I was so scared. My brother was there but we could only talk in code so my parents wouldn't know what we were saying. It was awful. I want to be able to have and remember happy dreams.

I am sorry you had that awful dream. I can relate. From time to time I have similar dreams with my parents. Hang in there. Sending good thoughts your way!

I am sorry you had such a nightmare and that it surfaced hurtful memories ... I hate when I wake from nightmares of fear and screaming ..... really can be upsetting .... I hope you feel better and that you feel safe again .... remember you are not alone
