I've been having nightmares again. Last night was awful. I had multiple nightmares.

Hey, were sorry your having horrible nightmares!!! When you have a nightmare and it wakes you up, could you jot down only words not feelings but jot down the words associated with that nightmare, draw a line under it.... try to get back to sleep and if you awake again, draw it or write those words down with little thinking.... During our middle part of treatment all the information and hurts we went through I would have nightmares very similar to what your describing and even though it was a pain to be writing in the middle of the night after a really bad nightmare I would not look at these words or drawings until we got to our therapist and then allowed her to keep it and work on it slowly. What has your T told you? If you need us to sit with you we will an if you need to talk we will listen to you becasue in our opinion that is the Least we could do since you are there for all of us! Know we care deeply and hope to see you in Grounding Skills ![]() OH, one more thing do you listen to music quietly when you sleep like Enya or anything that calms your mind. just and idea that works for our pain, sleep, nightmares and many other things......
