Question Aug 18, 2011 at 05:38 AM

I started therapy yesterday and she said I am hypervigilent why does that happen to a person? What have been ur experiences with this and how can i feel safer, I am very angry as I am in the nicest apartment I ever had and I want to keep it feeling safe. I have no filter these days when it comes to talking about the details and my counselor suggested I stop doing that on line to friends going into details just to leave it at her office to be picked up next time to keep my home safe and to not be remembering stuff here. I think that is a great idea so much as scary as it is, im used to going on line and talking when I am experiencing triggers.
