Hi,

I am facing emotional and mental problems and my condition has become worse. Is there any professional that can help??

Here is an overview of the problems I am facing:

- Taking things too much personally
- Depression
- Very poor at socializing
- Social Phobia
- Avoidant personality disorder
- Social Anxiety
- Perceiving things the wrong way due to depression
- Black and White thinking

Right now my main issue is that I am facing immense trouble forgetting someone.
I want to forget that person because I am acting with him in a very odd way to come close to him. This is happening due to the hype and depression created in my mind regarding him, and it won’t go away until I totally forget him, and then my mind would be balanced and perceive him just like any other normal person.

I am feeling really bad about myself right now and my condition has worsened. Please help me.

Why would forgetting him resolve all your issues?

coz i read a lot on the web about it, tht the only way to stop feeling bad is to forget that person, that way the mind will stop loving him.

because of the love with him, i feel really hurt when i see him enjoying time with others, although its natural, he has his own life, but my mind responds to that in a very negative way,

Unfortunately, I don't think you can ever really forget someone. Not sure where you read about that. Maybe you need help grieving the fact that you don't get to have the relationship that you want with this person so that you can move on.

I tried to get my therapist to help me just stop wanting things I cannot have. He tells me that isn't possible without heavy duty illegal drugs.
