My husband didnt know he had ptsd until about a month ago. The symptoms were in full effect after we got off of 30 days of leave. I have mild ptsd from an abortion at an early and from combat in the military. My husband is having a hard time ... I told him it gets worse before it gets better. He has made many medication changes within a short period of time. I do believe that I had slight Ocd before the army, ptsd and I was always very shy. With my Ets coming up in a week. I still have no job. My extreme anxiety/panic attacks, phobias, ptsd, ocd, and depression kicked in at full force about two months ago. The psychiatrists are still trying to figure out which illness or illnesses are causing all of these symptoms. I'm just so down on myself and discouraged because I am miserable. I don't want to be like this. My husband has had some of the same symptoms...anxiety/panic attacks, flashbacks... among other things. He is also down on himself because he doesn't want to be like this. The military is just horrible for some people. Anyone with inspiration out there? We both need it and want to feel accepted.. because there is so much stigma out there.

May I give you a hug, or you can just save it, and husband!

Thank you for your service to both you and your husband and I think it's time for your country to honor and help you guys get through. What can I do to help you out? Oh and to PC

I am not in the military yet I have lived at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Officer training school and such. I got to know a lot of military families with the army and got to know and see just how much you all do. I'm also sorry about the baby, *hugs* Acinom Etales.

I just started a scheduled PTSD chat that is located in the chat room. That is on Monday nights at 9:00pm -10:00pm. After you get familiar with the "Chat Guidelines" that is found Under Community Guidelines in the Forums Roll, and also knowing the Community guidelines. I believe it's 4 down.

I went through the healing of PTSD and it is doable with work. I can tell you that you can get a lot of support here and in my healing it goes a long long way. I wish only the best for both you and your husband and try to support one another as I know you must do.

Oh if you ever ever need to talk I type slow and I can send pretty pictures sometimes, I'm not great at the computer but I do try. Otherwise you'd have a nice link to where the guidelines. Maybe someone will leave you the links.

AGain thank you for your service, those of us that didn't serve had enough media showing that and although you may not see the magnets of the yellow ribbons if you served in America. Not sure about the other countries.
I'll be quiet now.... Thank you so much again for making a difference in the world and I am proud of you,, your husband, and all those that served. I feel honored to reach out my hand to grasp yours Crew
