i am not very good right now... still shakeing really bad just had first flash back i have had in years... it took me years to get over them and now its back AHHHH! i am afraid to sleep afraid the night terrors will be back too...!!!

Oh, I am sorry you experienced this, something must have triggered this to come forward. You can't run away from this, sorry to say, the best thing to do is face it, trace it, talk about it and that deflates it's power over you. I know what you mean about fearing night terrors as I have that too. But I find that if I identify and work on what ever comes forward after a while it loses its power to get me REALLY UPSET when I remember.

Powerful words.

It's true, it's soooo painful to have a flashback and on top of that just talk it over and over until you're tired of it but it does help. The most important thing is to realize the difference between then and now, and as my doctor says, once it's out it's harder for it to go back into your head.

Patience, be kind to yourself through this. Just try to hang in there as the pain goes away, because it does. Big hugs to you Photo_Girl_Jenn
