i have bipolar1, and ptsd. does anyone know if i would qualify for disability?

There are 2 levels of disability in the USA. If you have worked 30-35+ years then you qualify for SSDI. I have PTSD and some physical ailments and qualified immediately for SSDI. If you have not worked for very long then you may qualify for SSI. Go to your local social security office and ask if you qualify and for an application - there is no harm in doing that. if you file, it helps to have doctors who can verify your physical / mental problems.
