Hi, its seems like everywhere I go the people where I live either dont care or always making mistakes, re: pharmacy, ran a classified add they messed up, this goes on all the time, its almost constant. I ran a ad in the classified this week to sell a car for 3,900. and they put 39,000. Me and my husband couldnt figure why no one has called.

Anyway to my point. Iam not perfect by no means, but I have ptsd and have been looking for answers for 20 years. The phyciatrists Ive been to have diagnosed me with depresstion, anxiety, borderline tendancys and the lastest was bi polar. So, they have loaded me down with meds, my weight has gone up. The latest med is lamectal anticonvulsive. They just keep pouring these meds into me. Probably dont even need the lamectal.
Just need to vent about this. I dont think I m bipolar, could this be hurting me. Ive posted about this before and have gotten great feedback so her I am again.

((layla)),

When you have PTSD you are "more" sensitive to things that are "wrong" or "mistakes" that you may notice as well. There is such a "heightened awareness" when someone struggles with PTSD, I noticed that myself.

I am sorry that you have been misdiagnosed, I posted in your other thread that I experienced this myself. And I did get angry about it once I read up on PTSD, saw all the red flags that can tell a therapist someone has it that I talked about constantly.
I think that unless a therapist really "knows" about it and makes it a point to keep up on what is being learned overall in the field, they would catch it more. Unfortunately some therapists develope thier own style of working with patients and stay with what they "think" works.

I really recommend that you find a therapist that specializes in treating PTSD so you have a T that can help you work through the stages of recovery.

Yes, you are not alone in noticing the "mistakes" others make more.

You can also read the book "Trama and recovery" which talks about the stages of healing as well.

I am glad that at least now you are getting on track with understanding "how" you struggle and you found PC so that you will not feel alone with it.

(((Hugs)))
