here in New York which is in the USA PCS (post concussion Syndrome) is called shell shock and traumatic brain injury. I have never had a traumatic brain injury but I do know how hard having PTSD is..I also know many people with shell shock. they are mostly military so you might find some information in the combat PTSD board too.

keep posting theres bound to be someone somewhere here that may be able to post with you about the PCS/PTSD combination.
Thanks for this!

Hello Aiuto! Welcome to PsychCentral!

I decided to post in this thread because the other thread had less replies to your post.
Don't be afraid to ask any of us questions either.

((((Aiuto))))

Welcome to PC.

I am sorry that you are feeling so overwhelmed and confused. Those are hard times to go through. Try to take things more slowly. Slow, deep breaths....in....and....out.

Are you referring to Post Concussive Syndrome as PCS? All of these acronyms can be awfully tough for me to break down at times. If you are talking about that, there is a support group forum that you may want to check out. The group is for those battling both physical and emotional disorders. Sometimes, it's pretty quiet in there. Other times, the group gets several visits per day. We're in one of our quiet times right now, which can be a good time to check things out.

I'll send the link to your home page.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
