i was sexually assaulted one year ago today. (3/1/12) i feel like i should be better by now. i'm not

Oh, I am sorry to know you are still struggling with a date that means something bad happened to you. Maybe what you "could"do is "plan something good for the date" and start a new way of looking at the date. Go out and buy yourself something special or plan the day so you are doing something you like and slowly work on changing the date to not about remembering something bad, but to have something good happen inspite of that one bad day a year ago that you experienced. You "did" survive it, and you can survive it mentally as well. One day out of a lifetime should not ruin a lifetime.
