Hi there, confusing title I know- I'm confused too.
Has this ever happened to anyone else: your sitting there with other people and they do something (probably normal) and suddenly you feel sick to your stomach and feel like you want to run away. But don't know why?
Could it be a memory that you can't remember, a trigger to something that happened that you can't remember?
I'm confused - yet to discuss this with T but just wondering if anyone else has ever had this or something similar happen?
Thanks

I would absolutely call that a trigger. Discuss it with your T because they can help you figure out why it triggered you. Sometimes it's not very obvious.

THis is typical of ptsd. It can take time to understand why it triggered you.

Oh my goodness, this happens to me all the time!! I thought I was the only one
Half the time I have no idea what causes it. It makes you feel totally crazy, huh?

Thanks :-). I will bring it up with T coz I need to make some sense of it! It does make me feel a little crazy, esp with the tunnel vision and all weird effects.

Yes, lightcatcher, this happens with PTSD, and I know it is annoying too. You will eventually figure out what it is though. I had these a lot for a while and eventually
I connected the dots to someone who hurt me in some way.

Just remember something with triggers though, they do pass and typically what happens a lot is we react "first' and don't consciously figure it out until "after", that is very common.
