I have had about 18 months with only minor symptoms. Mostly I have been numb and that has helped me to function. I also have Bipolar which has been the main thing I have needed to focus on. However in the last few days I have been crying heaps and having many flashbacks. I feel as if decades of trauma are crushing down on me and I am going to snap under the pressure. Has anyone else had symptoms come back with force after seemingly no triggers? This is really worrying me. I start university tomorrow and cannot afford to fall apart right now. Any ideas on getting control of this? I have been using grounding techniques and mindfullness.

It sounds like you are worried and having anticipation anxiety about starting the university.
I have found that I can get that anticipation anxiety too and that once I actually get past that and involved with the activity I do better.
