Two effing years ago this morning I sat on that pier and almost didn't walk away.

I was feeling so pulled last night to go there at 4 am and sit there and think about it.

And I didn't. The alarm at 3:30 went off, I reset for 5:30 and went back to sleep. When I got up, I did housework for a couple of hours, then rode up to the commercial strip and picked up a spicy tuna roll and an eel roll for breakfast/lunch. Nothing like last night's Kroger sushi for breakfast (actually, it's fine, it keeps that long at least.)

I think I feel much better for not going there. Physically or in my mind.

Now I'm sitting here licking eel sauce off my finger like some kind of slob and contemplating that I should throw something g in the oven for dinner.

Like normal people do.

Hahahaha, I win one round!

wooowho for fighting the urge and winning. That's awesome~ especially since you were able to go back to sleep.

Thirty years ago this morning~ My friend and I overslept and was rudely awakened by a pounding on the door. It was our recruiter coming to pick us up. The beginning of the end.

You should have hid under the bed. Thirty one year ago I was probably trying to drop out of college and get into the Navy. It seemed like a great idea at the time.
