It was during my interview with the VA pdoc and staff, that I "learned" that
statistics report that marriages suffer and divorce rates are high. I thought to myself....marriage/relationships are challenging anyway. I question most things like this anyway. IMO all relations are work. There is a lot that just IS. Learning to live...period is hard work. I see all of us here working very hard day to day. If we all met each other in real life, what could or would we respond to each other. I tend to spend a lot of time to myself, and take time to get to know others over time. It does get lonely, but I have my 3 dogs, and enjoy outdoors, esp. this time of year. I have met some amazing people at the VA, it's amazing the spark and warmth we/they emit. It is a relief and release to have a safe place to work. Thanks PTSD family and friends Jade |

It "is" hard on a relationship. It takes time for the person who struggles to gradually understand it and they do go through stages that an average person doesn't understand.
From where I am now I can look back and understand it better, but I just didn't when it was really bad. |
