...Halloween....
Was a day I loved...
I just wanna say taking my daughter trick or treating, and nervous of someone jumping out in front of you, afraid of going into a "haunted house" because of PTSD triggers, and such.. I find it rather depressing. Trying to avoid anything that triggers a reaction, is really tough when you don't know what all of the triggers are!
Right now my heart is racing and I'm depressed with hardly any emotions... Anyone else deal with thisn or similar issues? The more support the better! =)

Ugh~ I didn't mind Halloween when my children were growing up. We'd go to the state park haunted trail or something like that where people had the sense to keep their hands off you and it was geared for kids.

The first time I was left alone~ it freaked me out. I knew no one would come to my house because we live in a small neighborhood but I did not like the feeling at all. I don't like the idea of anyone walking up to my door with a mask.

Nope~ I don't like to be scared. Thankfully, my husband got home early tonight so I didn't have to deal with the darkness alone.

Hopefully it is starting to settle for you as well.

I can't stand to be alone! But when or if someone jumps out in front of me, I'm sure they'd hit the floor Lol, So I do try to avoid it if at all possible! Thank ya so much for sharing with me!

I cant go thru a Halloween season without the flashback of pulling a 5 year old out from under a car and doing CPR....I have picked up the same child several more times over the years....what favors did I do him? I now have a Grandson and just walking thru a parking lot the "what if" always has me on the edge....
