... like it should be. OK, I still don't get enough sleep, that is a time thing. BUT, BUT, BUT, I no longer sleep like I did for two years, which was "collapse, toss, turn, get no real rest, have bad dreams, lather, rinse, repeat".

Now, I look forward to getting to go to bed, and my sleep feels truly "restful" physically and mentally. It isn't just a way to fill a few tense hours until I can get out and do something again.

I'm really liking this.

Thanks for this!

I really have to credit the trauma therapist - I think that is what turned things around for me. He keeps telling me I was just "ready" and I guess that's true, but the techniques, for all their weirdness, have really worked for me.

Yes, Mowtown, as you work through the things that are challenging you, talk them out, be validated and make gains, sleep begins to improve. I think it is important others struggling know this.

Remember, not so long ago I promised you that you would improve? See, even though it was hard you were working at it and making gains. I am so pleased you have been doing better.

That's true, you did. I guess one thing about PTSD is that we all seem to hang in there, and perservernce is part of resolving it.
