I have been traumatized in a number of ways by some really peculiar behavior and I just find it so hard to get it out of my mind. The weirdness has stopped after my strong objections but the memory lingers on. I think anger is a part of it because I am angry that this very peculiar action ever happened and was repeated. Lots of things have happened that I wish had not. I seem to be stuck in the mud of it all.

Do you have a therapist to work through this with? It can take a long time, but it is possible to get to a place where the memories don't drive your thinking all the time.
Thanks for this!
