Hey, second question of the day, but recently my psych told me to up my dose of person to 10mg. I tried it for two days but the side effects were so bad I stopped. Well lately I've been dealing with anxiety dreams intrusive thoughts and flashbacks and I'm considering giving it a round two. Problem is I have an irregular heart beat (the chart shows that it inverts then spikes) and I'm not sure if it will cause fainting spells or not. So my question here is did anyone who's been on 10mg find it worth while in spite of the side effects? Did it balance out over time? I can't take much more it's been two weeks already...

I had to find a way to live without the Prazosin. Switched it up to a natural diet and writing just before bed to help with the nightmares. The daytime flashbacks, I just forced myself to deal with. It isn't the best path and sure as hell isn't easy. Took a lot of time for me to get to a point of stability. Occasionally, I would take an anti-anxiety when they would be bad. It would at least help with the panic attacks that followed.
I couldn't keep taking the Prazosin because I have a naturally low BP and it just wasn't worth it to me, even though it helped a lot.
If you vote not to go back on it try to make sure that you have your T on call a bit more and maybe schedule meetings closer together. You might need to get through it like that. If you vote to start up again, just keep a good eye on your health.

I'm talking to my T on Thursday and letting her know it's not effective anymore, but I will try the prebed writing, I do enjoy writing thanks this was a helpful post, I also have moderately low BP ranging between 119/77 to 95/78 so......I need an alternative if I'm going to make it through without being comatose all day.

I was on 5 But it became ineffective, thank you though! Your reply means something to me ^_^ I even tried 7.5 like a 5 and a half, but even that was too much, mean while 5 wasn't enough
