I'm not sure whether to tell my therapist because I don't want him to accidentally give me suggestions.

I'm talking with him about some "minor adult sexual trauma." By talking I mean very slow baby steps no details.

I generally don't remember my childhood but lately I have been having a slight of a memory that keeps coming in (like my parents sending me to another city by car by someone they know). But that's the extent of that memory so far. I'm not sure out of all things I'm thinking about this. Is it possible that I'm putting this in my head?

Does anyone have similar experiences? What was it like for you?

I don't know as I have anything exactly like this. But I also have little memory of my childhood. (And the older I get, the more I lose.) I was an only child. So there are no siblings who can share memories. I have quite a lot of memory "fragments" that crop up now-&-again. But I have no idea how accurate they are, or even if they happened at all, in some cases.

I like to read about brain research findings. And one thing that keeps coming up is that our memories are much less reliable than we would typically like to imagine. So, personally, I tend to be cautious with regard to anything that comes up in the way of memories.
