The voices that day said masturbate and after that I feel I'm going deaf. Is there something like that in psychiatry?

Hello southwest: I'm sorry but I'm not sure what it is you're asking. Hearing voices is certainly a problem many people who have psychiatric disorders struggle with. But going deaf as a result of masturbating is simply something that was used to frighten people back in the days when masturbation was looked on as bad. I don't believe anyone ever went deaf as a result of masturbating. If you feel you may be losing your hearing, this is something to have checked out by a medical doctor.

There is something called Conversion Disorder which causes neurological symptoms but has no neurological cause and is said to be from stress, by a trauma for example. So by hearing something greatly disturbing to you may cause you to be unable to hear even though there is nothing actually wrong with your hearing.
You can also go blind, mute or even paralyzed in your whole body or just your legs or one arm etc. I have gone blind before for a short time. There was nothing actually wrong with me but I could not see.
