I have always thought of PTS as something some one who has been in war gets. I have learned that is not the case however I don't feel like my Abuse that I have went thru is worthy of PTS. maybe this is stupid of me to think but I have never been put in the hospital for a punch, I have never seen someone die. I have been told by many that what I am going thru is PTS.

Ravenjade, ptsd can occur from a number of things, abuse (mental, physical, sexual), neglect, witnessing a traumatic event. If it's interfering with your life, meaning it's keeping you from doing things you want to do, then it's worth getting help. In the end, these are just labels--the important thing is getting the support and help you need to feel safe and well
Thanks for this!

Its possible, but the only way you'll know for sure is to see a doctor or therapist who can diagnose you.
