I had an extreme strange experience after holiday break from therapy. There were a few times when it felt like everything was closing in. Almost like not really there. Anyone else experience this?

That sounds like depersonalization. It can be a very yucky feeling indeed. My therapist has a couple strong smelling oils like cinnamon and mint that ground me when that happens, It works well.

Yes. I actually found myself or caught myself grounding by ringing my fingers. It was a very strange feeling. Its like i was only there in my eyes and even her face distorted. What is this depersonalization about?
