Hi.
I realize that a lot of people have PTSD for reasons that surpass mine. However I believe anyone who has this anxiety issue needs to address it and try to recover from it. I have it due to years of abuse from family members and another who hurt me. I have dreams of the family and wake up to extreme panic attacks. For a month after I got away from it I felt like they were looking for me. My boyfriend and I intentionally moved to a place and told no one where we were. My fear consumed me but I've learned over the last month that things aren't always the way you think it is. Fear is a large part of PTSD to me. I know we're all different but we have the similar issues. I am very open to speaking with people about issues I have and due to 16 years of therapy I am pretty good at helping others. I'm 30 that may give you an idea of how long my issues have progressed. I am always here for anyone who would like to talk. We need to help each other to face our fears and anxiety. I'm not completely through it but in order to get better you need to go through it. Accept your fears and eventually the sun will come out again. I still have it and I'm handling it, I would like to help others who understand and can help me as well. Please let me know if anyone understands... |
