I'm hurting so, so bad. Stuff happened to me that no one should go through. My body was supposed to be my own and it hasn't been. Sometimes the "Today my professor told me" quote helps but not today, because I freaking remember. And my body isn't right. I'm missing a leg because it was tortured to the point of needing amputation. My private parts aren't my own - I learned that at age 8. I'm not safe. Not from anyone.

I like to think there's always hope. There are bad people that do bad things to good people and their day will come. Karma always wins. What we need to focus on instead is healing ourselves, sometimes with help from outside and medications. Feeling somewhat better is the ultimate goal, and this has to come in baby steps, it's not a quick or comfortable process and it has to be that way. So please follow up with your therapist and tell them everything you are feeling. If it's too uncomfortable to talk about write it out and give it to the therapist. You have been through a lot of horrible stuff but that is behind you and now you have to healing those wounds as best as you can.
