It will alleviate the anxiety, maybe to a certain degree but won't put a dent in the fracture. Oh, but my therapist is great. Yes, they're great, a friend could do the same in putting a loving embrace around the pain. But in the final analysis to heal the trauma the first episode of when fear reared its head needs to be acknowledged and detached from. In the detachment peace to be remembered. The remembering is not in the realm of speech but in the level of subconscious. Who can dwell there with you? A shaman, psychic surgeon, a wayshower of the soul. The layers go deep, treacherous in its terrain. Defenses at every level and turn. So the modalities for stopping the pain and terrror need to bypass the defences. Because wherever there is pain the mind sends out a signal to put up roadblocks to avoid more of the painful memory. Energy psychology and the medicines that open gateways to the unconsciousness used together with a spiritual roadmap and power seem to be most effective. Environment also must play a key role.

I'm not sure how anything could possible heal the fractures. I want to believe something can and will....my husband says it can be done. I just don't think so. Too much out of the realm of normal traumas to put a bandaid on it and say it's all better. It can get easier....we can learn ways to manage and cope but we will always be fighting this and feeling truly safe is not in the cards. We must keep fighting. (((Hugs)))
