I talked to my son on the phone today. He sometimes has hard time being away from mommy. It was started to bother him again as we talked. He said very nicely that he still didn't feel good--his chest, tummy, and neck. Conversation led into that mommy will die if she chokes on her food. I had been eating at the time, so he was concerned that I could choke. Shortly there after he was crying so much and wouldn't talk. I had to hang up because I was fighting crying from hearing him. I have problems like PTSD about not being with the kids. Hearing him cry because he wants/misses his mommy makes it even harder. Every time we are together he says that he wants to live with mommy, and personally invites me to move back to daddy's house. I just don't know what to tell him anymore. I left a message for my other kid's T on this. Wish it could be more.

This sounds so tough on both of you, sorry inkblot. Do the best you can... Though young children often can't imagine large blocks of time, try to give him hope that it won't always be this way...
of course children don't see all of the picture of course to them it would be best to have mom and dad and them living in one happy family.. try to stay the course, and try to be strong make sure they know they aren't "abandoned" and that they aren't at fault and that you love them your son needs to know that sometimes when we are sad our bodies hurt... sometimes it's from crying too much etc... he needs to know not to be afraid HE'S going to die if he doesn't have mommy... and also needs help to not hold so much in that he continues physical symptoms. Do you have faith in God? If not, maybe now would be a good time to try and share the love and caring of God who will take care of him, and you (like not die from choking on food...)???? Sometimes simple answers are good enough, and we tend to think like adults! I'm sure you've done all those things... just do your best. meditation is a true way to connect to the Source __________________ |

((((inkblot))))
I am sorry that you are in pain. I do not have much to offer but you are in my thoughts. Stay strong, Jessica You are in this snowglobe. It is encovered in glass and secure. But one day someone comes and shakes the globe and the pieces go flying everywhere. Now they will eventually settle but they won't be the way they were before and they can never be that way again. __________________ "Though she knows well he doesn't listen.
