Any Canadian Veterans out there who have made a successful claim for disability benefits? Specifically, a claim for psychological injury?

What was the wait time for a decision? (I am at week 17 now)
Did you have to apply more than once?
Is your benefit a monthly pension or was it a lump sum payment?
Is there any other information you think might be helpful?

Thx

It is now I think week 28 and counting. I was originally advised to expect a 16 week turnaround. I am really getting panicky about this. My disability assistance is running out February and I would like to know before then if I will be granted military benefits.
