I have PTSD from prostitution and childhood trauma. I usually don't like talking about it but I decided and online forum would be a better bet. I was a male prostitute for 2 years and experienced rape and torture. My abusers are still at large as you can get arrested as a prostitute for reporting it, even though they say you won't. I'm trying to find healing but I'm often triggered by sexual inuendo, etc on tv. I've become asexual due to the abuse. It seems like when the PTSD takes over I puke, I don't know if it's normal. I also don't sleep and my PTSD is usually triggered at night. I was prescribed klonipin, valium, etc, but they all made me suicidally depressed. I hope all gets better with me. I can't seem to keep my emotions under control.

I'm so sorry to hear this, bwise93, and I hope you find the peace and comfort you deserve. Have you ever consider EMDR as part of your therapy? If at all possible, I recommend you look into it, as it's specifically designed to target the lingering emotional and physical effects of past traumas.
