Well... I don't know if I have any useful suggestions here.
![]() ![]() From what you wrote in the 3 posts I read, it sounds as though you are continuing to struggle with the aftereffects of trauma. You mentioned you've done art therapy. One additional practice that seems to come highly recommended is journaling. I don't know if you've pursued anything like that. Here are links to a bunch of articles, from PsychCentral's archives, on the benefits of journaling & how to get started: https://psychcentral.com/lib/the-hea...of-journaling/ https://blogs.psychcentral.com/imper...mental-health/ https://blogs.psychcentral.com/stren...of-journaling/ https://psychcentral.com/blog/using-...o-reclaim-joy/ https://psychcentral.com/blog/tips-to-start-journaling/ https://psychcentral.com/blog/4-jour...your-emotions/ https://psychcentral.com/blog/30-jou...elf-discovery/ https://psychcentral.com/blog/30-mor...elf-discovery/ https://blogs.psychcentral.com/imper...cept-yourself/ As you perhaps noticed, journaling also goes well with a meditation practice, which among other things is also a great way to address problems related to trauma recovery: https://blogs.psychcentral.com/savvy...g-from-trauma/ And then, lastly, here's a link to an article by our host Dr. John Grohol, Psy.D. on the subject of learning to let go of past hurts: https://psychcentral.com/blog/learni...ys-to-move-on/ My best wishes to you... ![]() ![]()
