I have been diagnosed by 3 different psychiatric professionals as having PTSD. I do not understand why. I dont have nightmares etc. The only thing is, is that ever since I was around 8 I am often disturbed with bad sexual thoughts and impulses. I am also triggered by stories of abuse or mention of the possibility of something may of happening to me as a child. My current T knows I have no memory of sexual trauma as a child. How is it possible to be diagnosed with PTSD then?

I could understand if it was OCD but I'm confused about why they're saying PTSD, Dnester, did they say why they are saying PTSD?

I think it's a good idea to ask Dnester.
Do you remember most of your childhood? I know that people who were abused as children often have a lot of gaps in their memories. |
